Paragliders come with variable flight characteristics.  Beginner pilots will use a larger more stable wing that tends to fly slow and steady.  Advanced pilots will usually fly smaller faster dynamic paragliders.  As a beginner pilot progresses through to advanced level, the wing will need to become more dynamic to satisfy the intentions of the pilot.  In my progression, I purchased a beginner wing after training, then moved to an intermediate wing, which I fly today.  I am very happy flying the Ozone Speedster 3, it is faster and more dynamic than the beginner glider, which I still keep as a backup or alternative option depending on conditions.
