The Baofeng 5RM is the HAM variant of the UV-5G Plus and GM-5RH, these radios have a large color display. This radio, when programmed properly can operate on GMRS channels and receive Airband frequencies. The ability to program privacy codes and customize the radio is available in CHIRP, and does not require the manufacture’s software to program the radio. This radio does everything I need and want for PPG, 5 stars.
